Well, but it is not a crap game anyway! And the Ps3 version is getting lots of flaws fixed and enhanced graphics, and an especial stage + an extra chapter and somehow expanded ending.

Oh, I forgot Outlast or Daylight (likely, one of the two only). It's been awhile since I played a decent horror game.

I'm also waiting to see what exclusives will be on the next Xbox!

Whats the deal with this game anyways? I've seen some reviews of this game and at best it's average. There does seem to be a cult following though.


Well, it is indeed a pretty average "game". The graphics are horrible, the gameplay is murky and unpolished and it has rough edges (This all is fixed in the Ps3 version though). However, it has one of the most interesting stories told in a videogame (Not 999 quality, but hey, it has some crazy plot twists and unforgettable characters), and the soundtrack is pretty awesome though. If you can endure some vexing technical flaws, Deadly Premonition can be a clever, satisfying adventure.

I can usually forgive some of the gameplay and graphics to an extent if it has a nice story. Most games seem to have rather forgettable stories now. The last game I played that I really got immersed into the story was bioshock infinite, hence I have dedicated my avatar and sig to this game lol. I am listening to this right now.

Well, I can tell you that as a story-lover myself, I found Deadly Premonition's story to be pretty sweet, well executed and totally clever. I couldn't see the plot twists coming even with the foreshadowing the game does for you. And when the game surprises you once, it surprises you twice in the same row. And it is nice too, it has its parts where everything is left to the interpretation of the player; yet the main storyline is fleshed-out well so that it provides amusement wether your theories worked out or not.
