Oh yeah that was Cross Controller? What exactly is the difference between cross controller and remote play?

And why do we even compare remote play to the WiiU Gamepad which to my understanding is more like the equivalent of the Cross controller and not remote play functionality?  (Cross controller is the thing that costs money. Sorry for getting confused when sony makes 2 services that should actually be 1 xD)

Cross controller is like the Wii U. Remote play is just playing the game on the vita. Its two different services because they do diffrent things.

Comparing frame rates in a video is silly. Remote play will likely be inferior to Wii U in some ways, but superior in others. Remote play will probably have greater range, which is good. On the negative, it will probably have greater latency. I'm pretty sure that I heard a Sony rep say that Gaikai would work well for slower games like rpgs, but not be all that good for games that depend on low lag, such as shooters. I would expect remote play to have some lag in real life compared to the Gamepad - which many tech people were surprised had no lag at all.

That said, I think remote play will be a factor in about 0.000425% of PS4 purchases. I know it's not a factor at all for me.
