AND when they offer 1 hour of a game that has MP too, you can try that as well. 

everything fine, i just don't think it's such a "crazy thing" and a big deal to play 1 hour of a game. crazy is if you can save money when you buy the whole game (as example the tomb raider deal)

1 hour can be quite a bit more than a demo if you rush through. That's like over 1/10th of the game probably!

and what does this change? if you are interested in the game you will still buy it and if you don't like it what's so awesome to play it even if you could play through it? for people who don't like it they could make the whole game free and it wouldn't be awesome lol

sure it's more time to test the game but doesn't change anything for those who like it.

It is more representative of the game. From my experience sometimes a demo doesn't really manage to show me what the game is and what is does and can be quite different form the finished product. 

That being said i've never actually tried out any of these free 1h trials but played lots of demos...

yea, the problem with these 1 hour trials ofcourse is that you need to download the whole game

Sony seems to get rid of that problem with the PS4 with streaming/playing while downloading options, so while I personally didn't think much of this service before I think with the PS4 it could become really great.

Yup this and the limited selection of games offering 1h trials.

PS4 does seem to make a lot of things better though ;P.
