Eventually all 3 will be mine. The only question is the order they are purchased in.

This gen the order was:

360
Wii
PS3

So we'll see what Sony and MS have in store and which one of them goes first this gen.

The xbox this gen was for the online mostly since most of my friends were on xbox. I also wanted the ps exclusives too though. The xbox also has a few nice exclusives like halo and gears too.

yes, i got a ps3 after that, and then when they released the slim i bought that xbox and its been just fine since. Same thing when i bought a ps1 for like $400 back in the day and the laser would mess up and you would have to turn it all kinds of ways to make it work. I didnt get a ps2 for a good 2 years or so after release. i doubt M$ would make the same mistake but meh.. it will be fine, not to mention there will be a nice bargan bin by that time for the nextbox. :)

I´ve always owned all major systems, but I no longer have the 'passion' for owning them all...so I´m going with a PS4/Wii U combo, that should cover about 95% of my gaming interests (Sony and Nintendo 1st/2nd party titles + major 3rd party games that will be released on the PS4).

I can do without the remaining 5%.

I remember my Wii's laser got screwed up after a year I got it, I was forced to play my ten year old N64 lol

In all my years of gaming I've had 1 Gamecube(???), 1 Xbox 360 (RROD), 1 PS3(YLOD), 1 PS2(Disc Read Error) and an Amiga(????) that broke. Never had a Sega system break!!!(Knock on wood)
