What a dope. Can't even figure out how to play Monster Hunter. I've never touched the series before in my life and it plays great on 3DS. The camera isn't giving me any problems at all.

And again people are not dismissing the game because its on 3ds they are simply saying its a better match for the psv since the psv comes with a defualt 2nd stick. Its really not hard to get. And how on earth can you call the controlls argument bullshit when they actually MADE THE ADDON SPECIFICALLY FOR THE GAME????? AND BUNDLED IT! No1 said the 3ds default control scheme is shit. All they said was that the psv's defualt control scheme is better for a game like this. Which is true...its seriously hard to argue against this. And im not sure why you even trying. This is not a sony vs nintendo thing. Jeepers. Posters on this site are ridiculous. |
It's absolutely irritating to have to hear that same old argument whenever Monster Hunter comes up. They do not care about the controls, they are upset because it's not on their favorite system and use the controls as an excuse.
If someone wants the game, get it on 3DS. That would be me saying it's a better match on 3DS because the 3D gives it a presentation boost.

How could the game really be that much better on Vita? Graphics? An exponentially greater number of monsters? What? |
well, the exponentially greater number of monsters is the why you pay full price for the Wii U remake.
Graphics wouldn't be better as Capcom was extremly lazy and did almost nothing to improve the graphics for Wii U-the same would happen to the vita version
the 2nd stick should make the game better as most games benefit from cam controle.it was a problem with Wii not having a 2nd stick and it still is with the 3ds,but people only having wii and 3ds are not used to a second stick won't miss it as they are used to play with only 1 stick.
games like mh, should have never been on the 3ds
tried playing it, and it felt awkward as hell

Huh? I've seen no one complaining that it "wasn't on their favorite system." People in this thread are complaining about 1) controls (mainly) 2) graphics/monsters on screen. I don't think you can find many reasonable and unbiased people who would argue that the game would NOT control better with a second stick/the CPP. It might not NEED a second stick or CPP (much like the PSP versions didn't *need* one) but I think it's pretty unanimous that it would control better with one.
That seems to be the complaint, not sure how people are thinking it's anything else.
About your point on the 3D, sure, if all other things equal, I think any reasonable person would say the option (that is what the 3DS gives) to have the game be in 3D would be a presentation boost.
Some people will never get over the fact that Monster Hunter is not in their console of choice.
He mentions PS Vita a couple of times about X game not being there, so yes, he lost all credibility.
I apologize in advance for my bad english.
The 3ds is not everyone's cup of tea, just get over it guys seriously!
If I listed every person that hates the vita id be here all day! just cause someone doesnt like the console doesnt mean their "Butthurt". He raised some valid points about why he didnt like it nuff said.

I honestly don't understand the people in this thread saying anyone is "butthurt" or complaining that the game is on the 3DS as opposed to another system (as a concept). The complaint from many people (including the Fez dude) is that the game would control better using a second stick. Capcom seems to agree by adding CPP support and bundling it. I don't see how people can argue with this. It is an opinion, but a pretty widely shared opinion.
Now, does it "need" the second stick support, that's up for debate. I haven't played it, but, assuming that it controls anything like the PSP versions, I would argue that yes, a second stick is almost a necessity (if nothing else, to prevent hand cramps).
"the gameboy micro was the best handheld ever"
Gotta love these people. The best handheld ever for him, is the only Nintendo handheld system that bombed (Virtual Boy is just an atrocity so I wouldn't classify it as anything).
I apologize in advance for my bad english.
