Why would I want to spend over 150$ on a console and a couple games when there's plenty of BETTER jrpgs I haven't even finished yet on ps3?

That would be the case. But he said that he wouldn't buy Killzone as he wouldn't buy Gears or Halo. I was just wondering if he knew there are some exclusives other than those two, and the two ones he said he was interested in.

im sure he knows considering he is a member of this forum. He probably is not a fan of shooters. im in the same boat (not the shooter part). Most of the games that i was interested for 360 were eventually ported. Only thing left is Gears and i played all 3 at friends house (dont care about judgement)

Ok, i know that there are more exclusives as Halo or Gears... But as I said the PS3 and the Xbox share most of the third party games like Assassin's Creed and Resident Evil. So the Exclusives are very important.

I must admit that I do not know the whole software offering for the Xbox360. But the most famous franchises are Halo, Gears, Forza, Fable and Mass Effect and I am simply not interested in these games.

Ok, there are also famous PS Franchises like Killzone, Gran Turismo, InFamous or Little Big Planet that I do not like (anymore). But there are smaller Franchises like Ratchet & Clank, Jak and Daxter, Sly Racoon, Heavy Rain, Heavenly Sword, 3D Dot Game Heroes alongside some Big Franchises like God of War or Uncharted which makes the difference.

All in all the PS3 offers more diversity and more genre diversity (especially in my favourite Genres JRPGs, Action-Adventures and Jump'n'Runs).
