I have played Killzone 3 for 2 hours yesterday, multiplayer, also SPEC OPS THE LINE, multiplayer as well. Didn´t have any problems. Also, I watch Netflix on my PS3 and on my Vita all the time.

PS3. Get the PS4 later on when it will be cheaper and reliable. As for powerful next gen games you can always play them on your PC. With PS3 you would get some exclusives to play around with. And games like bayonetta, red dead.
Reading this thread as it has unfolded is very interesting.
I have come to the conclusion that you never had any intention of buying either console and posted this thread merely for your own entertainment and amusement. That's fine!
Stick to your PC and enjoy.
Sony will, I suspect, get over the disappointment of losing a sale.

The speed of PSN doesn't bother me, if that means anything. I don't know how anal you would be about that.

I was planning on getting back into console gaming and have been for some time, but with the PS4 coming soon I just started to think I might be better off waiting for that. It's always good to broaden your horisons after all. Of course posting the thread on here is mostly for my amusement, and maybe to give me the push I need to decide on which direction to go which looks like it might just be pick up a second hand PS3.
Sony of course will be devastated if I don't become a customer, in fact I heard that after being informed about this thread Kaz was put on suicide watch in case I don't become a Sony customer.

I wonder what happened to that dude since mercury steam began developing Castlevania games. |

*goes to cry in a corner*
MercurySteam is aparently finished with castlevania after LoS2 so I hope they will let him have another crack (pun very much intended) at the Castlevania franchise. I mean lets face it who else other than IGA and Kojima do Konami have that can direct a game?

Multiplayer doesn't really concern me so much as patching and downloading, I hear horror stories of OS updtates and game patches that take hours even on fast connections etc. Tho I kinda was joking about PSN being shitty being a counter argument.

A PS4 obviously, since you Zarx aren't the type of guy who completes many games in a short amount of time and you probably already have a fairly big backlog of unfinished games on the PC (plus all these obscure upcoming PC exclusives you keep hyping all the time). Within 6 months PS3 will be yesterdays news and u won't have much interest in playing those old games.
ps3 has red dead redemption, that pretty much answers your question

Good point. Such a masterpiece. God, I miss John Marston.
