Only game I'm looking forward to this year, so far.

Puppeteer?  Beyond?  GoW?  Sly?  GTA?  PS4 launch stuff?

Curious, tempted, but not really looking forward to any of them, honestly. PS4 launch is not a game :P and none of the games announced for it are making me desperate to buy one at launch either.

I'm really into Infamous and just don't wanna play Watch Dogs or AC with low framerate or less resolution after seeing PC versions of games looking so much smoother recently.  Beyond I'm...well Beyond excited for because I love Willem Dafoe and Heavy Rain.  Puppeteer looks like it's right up my alley and GoW I'm actually enjoying MP for the first time since...R&C3 I guess (I hardly ever play MP).  GTA I always have a good time with and Sly was my favorite Sly ever and I love that series.  So yeah I guess we have different taste lol

I doubt InFamous Second Son is a launch or 2013 title. Even if they could get it ready, I think Sony won't make the same mistake as with Vita and try to spread out their releases better at the start of PS4's life.

I think they could have it ready given how much time has passed since the last one, but I do think Sony should hold back till January so we don't have a Vita/WiiU scenario with everything at launch.  For some reason people don't look at it as "how many games are on the system that I want to play?" they say "how many games have come out recently?" and Infamous could get lost in KZ, COD, and AC as it's not as big of a franchise.  Probably better to give it its own time in the sun (pun intended)

Uncharted 3 and 2 both took me around 11-ish hours to beat so it seems reasonable.

Infamous Second Son doesn't have to be out on launch date. Think about it. We will have launch with Killzone Shadow Fall, DriveClub, Watch Dogs, Assassin's Creed 4, and I'm pretty sure that Call of Duty MW4, Madden 14, Fifa 14, Battlefield 4, and a new Need For Speed (so basicly every EA yearly game+COD) will be out by then. Destiny and Diablo III also coming. Infamous should be out in early 2014. Somewhere aroung February. What open-world action game will be played by everyone before that? In Sept it's GTA, in Oct it's AC4, and in nov it's probably Watch Dogs. December is too late for launch, so choose Jan or Feb.

Yeah, I beat Uncharted 3 faster than I beat Uncharted 2 but normally its around the ten hour mark for me. A couple hours more in a story driven thriller is a breath of fresh air for me.

pretty sure Destiny is 2014 but you're right I think they should put Infamous out in January or February even if it's ready because they will get lost with bigger franchises.  Sony should promote the hell out of KZ at launch then get Infamous in right as the "what's after release?" complaints start to kick in

Yeah, I'm sorry, you're right about Destiny. And Shadow Fall will be Sony's BIG start, so they had to promote shit out of that one, and let people know, that it's not Killzone 4, but more of a reboot! And when all dust settled, draw out Infamous.

But what about Knack? What do you think? I'm sure it will be a launch game, but if they offer it for 60$, then that IP is as good as dead. Give them out for 40 $ or better, bundle it with the premium SKU. Seems like it has a Pixar quality/charm to it, so don't wast it. More people play it, more chance to have a new mascot.

I think Knach looks like a download title but maybe a high end one like $20 or $30.  My dream bundle would be a high storage PS4 with a PS+ sub (which I hope is all that is required for all online features) for 3 months and either Knack or KZ (remember it'll have a headset and the camera already)

I'm sure there won't be PS+ rigth off the bat, it wasn't on the Vita, won't be on the PS4. What would they offer monthly? (By the way, if anything goes wrong, a pricecut and announcing PS+ at E3 2014 would be a good combo to comeback.) It will be hard for Sony because of the backward compatibility (or the lack of), they will have 3 seperate system to support. I hope they act on time, and get the Gaikai up and running, because they won't be able to support the PS3, PS4 and the Vita.

The best would be for them to include a serial for every retail PS4 game, which binds it to your account, and you can play from the cloud on the PS4 and the Vita. Without a serial, gaikai can't be used, but the disc itself would work on a different PS4. It would basicly work like the online pass, but offer more then the ability of online play, it would offer gaikai play, stream and share functions. So if you don't have it, you miss all the online fun. Offer it 20 $ plus, and used game trading will be still available. Happy publishers, and happy consumers who want to trade used games.

So to prove everybody, what the whole thing is about, bundle Knack. If you're right and it's more like a 20$-30$ title, it doesn't matter that much anyway, and Nintendo figured it out long ago, that there must be a game in the box, and they are right. Much like the Little Deviants should have been bundled with the Vita. It was perfect to showcase the system, yet nobody played it. Sold about what, 150k copies or so? It's less them 6 million income, which should have been sacrificed to sweet the deal, and including a 4GB card should have had a similar purpose. I hope they see this now, and make a perfect launch.

But we wandered too off-topic... The Last of US is DAY FUCKING ONE for me, even it is 6 hour long, because those would be a hell of a 6 hours.

IM SO READY FOR THIS GAME XD

that's actually a really good idea.  You should make a thread maybe with a poll proposing that and see what people think it seems awesome
