$120m budget? For a game being exclusively released on a single new platform.

My general disbelief in the above paired "facts" has no bearing on their truth, but that sounds like a really poor business decision.

Side note, the actual development of the game didn't start until September 2011, and slowed down again due to XIV disaster.

If FFVsXIII releases exclusive in Japan PS4 will sellout and the Japanese people will even start to pay just to take a glimpse at the machine.

Anyway I heard something similar, it seems just to be rumours in my opinion. I think Square Enix have been very disrespectful to the fans.

They said this would be a PS3 game, FF fans bought a PS3 just for Final Fantasy, now they might have to buy a PS4 for a game they waited 6 years for.

The game has had a lot of development problems apparently so that explains the delay. Hopefully they manage to sort all that out and get the game out for the PS3 and the PS4, like what Blizzard are doing with Diablo 3.
