I don't want to buy a new console to be able play this game. I hope it's still for PS3 and releases sometime in 2014.

Haven't you heard? There is no more Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Soriku brought the good news to VGC that they changed it to a totally different game; Final Fantasy XV!
(It won't be on the PS4. Especially if it releases soon...)

I'm going to base this off of Square's tradition of releasing three numbered Final Fantasies each gen, so they will rename it to FF XV and release it for PS3.

I won't trust Squeenix to release anything until it's actually out in stores.

It's been almost a month since they said they would be showing new info on FFXHD "very soon".

I stopped believing FF Vs XIII was exclusive after all the delays. It's go on so long it needs to go multiplatform to make up the losses. If it gets renamed FF XV and is marketed as the next big FF than I expect it to be nothing else but multiplatform and even more multiplatform than FF XIII.

But they still have to release FFXIV and Lightning Returns on the PS3 before they would release Versus/FFXV. That pushes things back a lot. Like Fall 2014 for Versus in Japan and early 2015 in the rest of the world :/

That's why I think Versus has been pushed back on next-gen hardware.

finalfantasy can get away with being a PS4 exclusive, because most of it's sales will come from there
