Get $75 extra in-store credit when you trade any PS3, Xbox 360 or Wii U system toward the purchase of a new PlayStation 3 500GB Limited Edition God of War: Ascension Legacy Bundle

If I were to trade my ps3 slim with God of War: Origins, Duke Nukem, and Force Unleashed... then since I don't need the GoW: Saga I could return that to target without a reciept.

The red system is kinda cool and I want to buy GoW: A anyway. So if I can get the net cost of the bundle to be around $60 then i would do it

Gamestop trade-ins are never worth it.

Utilize Ebay.

I don't find ebay worth it either. I sold my Ps3 fat when it broke (and i replaced the laser myself) on ebay for 400 or so dollars. (this was actually a lot more than it was worth). However, ebay incorrectly estimated shipping costs. I entered the correct dimensions and weight and it turned out way off. On top of that the ebay fees and paypal fees were outrageous. Never again will i use ebay. Its also time consuming

1) never use ebay's shipping estimator... just use Priority Mail for most things. Far simplier.

2) I guarantee you that no matter what the fees+shipping is using Ebay your net sale and purchase of something else will ALWAYS be far more in your favor than using Gamestop.

3) time ok so you have to wait a day or three depending on your auction time. Not much difference.

Also, I really would get more money back from Gamestop than on ebay. Found out they give 130 for ps3 so adding the 75 would be 205... but then I'd need to reduce the cost by about another 100 to be worth it in my opinion which the 4 games wouldn't come close

You can do that anytime though. In this case however, if you want the red ps3 you can get an extra 75$ on your trade in

I called Gamestop and did some quick analysis on Ebay.

They told me they take that model for $75. Then you add the $75 bonus for a total of $150.

That specific trade, due to the bonus, would be better than Ebay which is selling those for around $150 as well. So without that bonus, Ebay would have been the better value.
