Crazzy: What about a bet that SMG will outsell every single PS3 game ever?

That include your much used, saviours of the PS3 and gaming in general FF13, MGS4 and GT5.

Yeah that's a good idea. If you lose, then you have to change your Avatar to a Wii.

If you win, I'll change my avatar to whatever you want.

I think Mario Galaxy wil continue to sell well for the entire life cycle of the Wii and will pass easily Mario Sunshine sales.

Ok, i don`t mind, SMG won`t sell 2 mln. since the week of black friday in november 2008 till the end of 2008.
SMG won`t outsell every single PS3 game ever.

The only problem, it will take atleast 1 year for the 1st bet.
I can bet on 100 wmz, 100 e-gold, 100 paypal or what ever. =)

 That is a fantastic bet.. however it'll unfortunately take about 4 more years until someone can be fairly called a winner (unless the ps3 line is dropped completely)

what about first month's Galaxy Sales vs. first month's MGS4 sales?

MGS4 is more top-heavy then SMG, but probably wont be still topping the chart months later. you could try.... 3rd months sales SMG v MGS4.

I said whatever PS3 game vs SMG, but OK, let's do FFXIII if you really want.


So the bet is: First 3 months of SMG outsell first 3 months of FFXIII worldwide.



(3 million in Japan alone, they will have to sell over 1 million consoles in Japan this year AND have a 100% attach rate. The first part could well be possible, the second not.)

 FFXIII will be lucky to sell 3 million lifetime in Japan. The FF series has been in steady decline over there ever since the release of VIII. I would guess it will do around 1.8ish million first month and that is being relatively optimistic. FF is a big series, but it isn't what it used to be.
