It sold almost half of GC sales (10m vs 22m) in about 1/3 of the time (2 yrs vs 6), so it didn't do that horrible.

I'm saying it would have been a factor, look at the PSP. No need to get over defensive, if that is what you're doing because honestly I have no clue.

Handhelds are becoming increasingly more niche, and it is not really even Smartphones fault. It is mostly Sony and Nintendo basically always doing a 2nd rate job in NA as compared with Japan. As long as these companies have Home consoles then they will continue to treat it as 2nd in terms of importance.
