Good, soon the prices will drop for the s3 and other smart phones. I refuse to pay more than $29 a month.

If only it worked that way.

Surely it does? If something becomes obselete people will want the new thing, you know, supply and demand? I know it does for most other things.

The price of the phone goes down but the monthly bill doesn't. A $10 smartphone is still $29 a month with most data plans.

Depends. I have an S2 on a $29 plan in Australia and I get $450 worth of text and calls. We pay more than everyone (or near enough) for electronics. The ps3 for an example was $1000 here at launch.

Lucky!

Just another upgrade, apple style. You will be able to get better phones for a lower price

I watched the press conference, and thought it was joke. It was pretty bad, and they hardly told us much about its specs and features.
Also, this phone is just a bigger version of the S3. They should have made a brand new design. Also, the features aren't that special in this phone, and will probably be outdone by some other phone makers in a few months.

Another Samsung phone? I never got why anyone cares about having the latest phone that does 99% of the same things the previous version did.

I expect the Xperia Z to continue selling well, cause this phone didn't bring any revolutionary features and that phone still has the amazing waterproof feature.

I'm not impressed at all. Looks like Samsung is going the apple route of providing incremental updates while keeping the design and feel the same. What we have here is a Galaxy S3s.

1mm Thinner, 1 gram lighter, more megapixulz...innowayshun!

Snapdragon 4 pro and not 600/800, same cheap and plasticky design as last year...i guess they figure they made it and they can ride their success to the bank.

Someone's not a fan lol.

I really couldnt care any less to be honest. We gave an S3 at work and im sure they will bring this one as well. We have to make sure our Android app works on the latest samsung after all.

What bugs me is that HTC One is just so much better in every way. Better design, better specs, better software, better camera. But my work will not order that phone...Doubt the guys at work even know it exists and even if they do, they figure no one will buy it.

I understand why you don't like Samsung phones, I'm not a big fan either, but that completely false. A tech guy like you, you should have known better.

It may be a beast when it comes to hardware and it's probably a great phone, but the design is just fugly. Apple and Sony make such sexy phones, this one looks cheap and just meh.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

I'm really interested but I also like the Xperia Z... Specs comparison, which one is better?

The S4 has a better processor. but seriously, the specs on both are WAY ahead of cutomers needs. It's more meaningful to compare the features.

The S4 has its smart gestures, smart eye tracking, full HD super AMOLED screen ( either you love or hate ) and bigger battry (2600 mAh)

Xperia Z, premium design,  Water and dust resistance, under water video camera , ClearAudio and Bravia engines , Full HD LCD screen, 2330 mAh battry.

You just can't go wrong :)

So do you think the Xperia is better?
