Forums - Nintendo - Lego City frame rate issues :(

LOL, I just realized that Lego City has the same metacritic rating as God of War Ascension! I don't think a game with deal-breaking framerate issues would get an 80 on average. It's a good game (most fun I've had playing a video game in a while), pick it up if you have a WiiU!

Frame rate hasn't bothered me a bit. Not once does it dip to mass effect 3 or skyrim frame rate levels at their worst. so far I've only experienced minor frame rate issues.

I agree. It's actually pretty darn smooth 99% of the time.

EDIT: Eurogamer gave it a 90, the only thing they said about the framerate is that it wasn't 'solid', but that it didn't interfere with the enjoyment of the game... meaning it's really not that bad.

I dont believe you guys, as you are the only ones who have played the game so far.

I rather believe the OP who has read in some shady reviews that there are horrible framerate issues and I also believe all the people who instantly started speculating about the frame rates and the bad Wii U architecture without ever having played the game even for one minute.

Therefore, you guys must be wrong and they are right. So, even if you go on disagreeing, I will just ignore your posts going forward.

I bow before your undeniable logic.

lol, "borderline disaster"...I've spent, oh, 20-hours on this and *nowhere* can the frame rate be characterized as such, and I am lunatic anal about frame rate.

(Yes, it's inconsistent, but it's not Virtua Fighter 2, so...)

Just to clarify, i will be getting Lego City this week. I made this thread after a bad day at the office, and after reading some indifferent reviews. I very much regret making this thread

Framerate issues are annoying, but gamebreaking? I don't think so.

not saying that this is the case for lego city but...

...when it drops below 15 fps it get's pretty game breaking.  i've stopped playing games due to frame rate issues before.
