Forums - Sony - PS+ games aren't free. You said so.

i vote to define these games as "free" even if they are don't really are, just because i don't want want to find a new PC word for this kind of deal!

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

It's so simple. Happy Wars is free! You said correct them yet don;t take the correction yourself! Sony fans say ps+ is free yet it isn't but hijack the article and beat up happy wars for not being free.

You know what, we should just agree to disagree. This has the potential to go on forever and I really want to stop.

You're not getting the point at all. I'm not mixing up anything. I swear it's like you didn't even bother to read it, I'll bullet point it for you.

>PS+ users on a daily basis claim they receive free games wile xbox live sucks.

>Happy Wars is a free game which requires you to have an xbox live connection to play, even the campaign on Silver.

>Sony fans ambush the article and claim it isn't free when in fact it's more "free" than the games you get for ps+, thus the bias and Hypocritical behavior I referred too.

>A guy even took the time to look the game up on metacritic to mock it, really, how sad.

I'm just trying to point out how quickly Sony fans attack something without a congrats or anything. Yet they praise ps+ as if it is Jesus with free games.

Rediculous, PS+ users talk about "free games", because it's too much of a hassle to talk about "games I got through my subscription, which I can use as long as my subscription runs without paying money additional to my subscription". Not because they actually believe they were free.

By the way, the reason to critizise XBL Gold in that respect is, that for the same yearly/monthly fee you get a ton of additional content on PS+.

Yet there are free to play games available on PSN, which you can play online and offline without paying particularly for playing it. (ofcourse you have to pay for the console and for internet and for your TV and electricity and all that stuff)

I have no means to play Happy Wars, but earlier in the thread somebody said you have to unlock at least parts of the offline campaign through leveling up in multiplayer and for multiplayer you need to pay for Gold (or hope for some free Gold access promotion).

So, if that poster was right, then there are legitimate reasons to critizise it's self-proclaimed "free to play" status.

To play ps+ games you have to pay too. That's my point. You can't bash one for not being free and not the other. I'm out.

You don't seem to understand that "free to play" or "f2p" is a pretty well defined business model, atleast in the PC space. Users expect the _full_ access to these games, while having the option to pay fees for faster progress and/or access to special vanity items.

A game that doesn't fullfil these conditions is critizised if it's advertised as "free to play". Games, which offer more powerful items to paying players are called "pay to win" for example.

PS+ on the other side never advertised itself as having "free to play" games, it was always clear that it's a subscription model.

You seem to not understand the concept of a free to play game model even if someone writes a book and slaps you with it. I have tried to point it out to you so many times in this thread but you still choose to ignore it

No one has to pay for PS+ for free to play games! That's the friggin point. How hard is that to understand? You use examples that makes no sense and refuse to admit it because playing the victim seems to be your bigger priority

ps: talking to ironman :P not you Lafiel

PS plus isn't free, people just say "free" because it's easier than saying "at no extra cost".
No denying the value of PS+ over XBL though,

XBox Live Silver is a much better value than Playstation Plus.   It is free for one thing. and Iget demos for about everything.

no one said they are free

you pay 15 dolars you get like 10 good games that cost like 200 dolars

for a month, then you have nothing for your 15dollars. This is what was called game rental back in the 90s.

its 3 months for 15 dollars. also, with game rentals u would never get 10 games for 15 dollars for 3 months. nice try tho, that was cute.

No. You have no right whatsoever to make a stupid thread and then bail on it after being proven wrong.
