Forums - General - Decent free anti-spyware/malware?

So yeah, I've gone ahead and got my girlfriends laptop keylogged, so I was wondering if there's any software available that you found reliable in finding it? I have tried McAffee/Norton and Microsoft Security Essentials, have also tried to system restore, so I just want to go ahead and go overkill on this to make sure that the computer is fine and clean.

Avast: http://www.avast.com/en-eu/index

avast

Fuck that was meant to be Avast instead of Norton ;_;, avast didn't detect anything. But I know for sure there is something there. How's AVG?

I literally want to punch myself in the face. That's what you get for late night gaming when your other half is sleeping, what's even worse is I woke her up on accident, so got her even more pissed. Broke her laptop and woke her up, gg relationship.

Norton Power Eraser (Free)

Ok she has had McAffee installed, which is god awful software so not sure why she even did that. I am in the process of removing it in safe mode so hopefully that'll stop the BSOD bombardment as I've heard its partially responsible for those. Most likely software conflict. But that still leaves me the problem of having to clean up the PC
