you know what i find very very funny, when ever people start accusing you of stuff and flame wars happen, you always reply to me. explain your point and honestly explain you didnt want to start shit and then after saying whats boiling up in your heart you put (not you) between brackets. this happens A LOT because you know i know you dont want to start shit and i know your intentions and know i wont argue with you hahaha.
and the thing is, the games they are releasing arent really mediocre, have you played them? personally i played PS all start, twisted metal, and starhawk, all got about the same reviews. they are alll awesome games. but the thing is, they arent AAA big budget games, and i think thats the reason why they get these reviews.

LMAO so true haha
The only exclusives i bought last year was Halo 4 and the Jak Collection. Other than that multiplat games and a lot of arcade games like journey, trials evolution, etc.

last year wasnt really good on exclusives, from all 3 companies.
and yeah another thing was that these games really dont appeal to much people. starhawk specially can no way be anyways cup of tea. the scale of the multiplayer is huge and its definitely easy. heck i slaughter when i i play shooters online. Killzone, uncharted, CoD i can top the servers easily, but starhawk, even after playing it for quiet a good time, i still see my self learning and finding a hard time doing OK.
twisted metal is just a blast, honestly, its just so fun to play 4 player split screen. but it isnt really an AAA tittle, the same goes for PS all starts

I was originally planning on buying LBPK, PSBR, and Twisted metal but the Betas killed it for me as far as LBPK and PSBR goes. Twisted Metal just turned me off when the reviews came out

All stars is fun as hell with friends, but alone: I personally feel its unbalanced. You can kind of look past that because of the fun factor with friends though.
Twisted Metal is a fun game but I realized it was more of a nostalgia thing and the game didn't hold for long.
Starhawk is easily the best out of the bunch. The issue was that it was too much of an ambitious project and the design of the game just didn't entirely work as fluidly as say.. Warhawk. With that said however: There's a bunch of fun and crazy moments to be held in the game.
As for last year not being good: I agree. My personal GOTY was Journey which was amazing but rather short (still ..amazing :P). However I discovered a game thanks to PS+ that I really shouldn't have overlooked: Sleeping Dogs. That game.. man THAT game. Easily my runner up. Beat it in three days. Played it for like hours straight. So good!
EDIT: And Assassins Creed 3 was a huge cockslap in the face. How dare you end it like that Ubisoft. Makes me bad for laughing at the ME3 ending xD (Even though I wasn't nearly THAT invested into the franchise as the ME fans).
