I only played two Zelda games: A Link to the Past (SNES) and Ocarine of the Time (N64).

Same here, same princess, same world, same big boss, same story, etc... it's the same with difference gameplay and graphics... I think there is no child/grand child/great grand child in the hero/princess/last boss.

I guess it always different games for the same story.

Edit - I found that.... so there is no relation between the chars from one game to other.

The world naturally is the same, story direction is Nintendos doing, Ganon is the only one who is literally the same person every game (ages slowly?). But every link/zelda is a descendant of their own family tree. 

I know you say what you think and get pretty dead set on that, but let me tell you that in this case you are wrong. Actual Zelda fans can explain far better then I can.

The problem with the critics is. At the beginning of the gen they gave nearly every game a 10 out of 10 and get critisized for it. Now they go the other route at beeing overcritically. And if the punish a quality game series like GOW than they will get the attention they wanted.

An 8 is great in my book. Most people tend to look at scores the way they think of grades in school, but clearly it is WAY different based on how sites set their criteria. I bought Sly: Thieves in Time day 1, which received lower scores, and I enjoyed the heck out of it.

But based on what IGN shared earlier (a few negatives) I expect them to give a score of 8 (or so). Them 'dumping' on it doesn't man I think the score of 8 is bad.

On a side note, I find Aphrodite and her attendant's censored outfits MUCH sexier than the US version. The awkward ass way their busts were exposed here was just embarassing.

At any rate...damn. This would put the game far below even Ghost of Sparta, which was the most underwhelming entry in the series. Doesn't look like the multiplayer did enough to mollify the complaints about staleness in the single player campaign.

Perhaps now. But when reviews come out i cant be called out for overhyping and rather will prove more level headed by predicting realistically.
