I only played two Zelda games: A Link to the Past (SNES) and Ocarine of the Time (N64).

Same here, same princess, same world, same big boss, same story, etc... it's the same with difference gameplay and graphics... I think there is no child/grand child/great grand child in the hero/princess/last boss.

I guess it always different games for the same story.

The world naturally is the same, story direction is Nintendos doing, Ganon is the only one who is literally the same person every game (ages slowly?). But every link/zelda is a descendant of their own family tree. 

I know you say what you think and get pretty dead set on that, but let me tell you that in this case you are wrong. Actual Zelda fans can explain far better then I can.
