I am more excited for this game now. Really hope that it will be tons of fun and it has been pushed up on my Wii U Priority Games List.

I wonder how the prequel will be in comparison, not in terms of tech of course but, were they be able to get the same ''fun factor'' with limited hardware, when this consist mostly on exploration and amount of content? It's another game but still.. mmm
What's the 3DS version?
Is that the same game or is it the prequel.
I recall seeing a video of them showing off some Lego City prequel, and was wondering if that was what they were showing.
If so then I will probably get the 3DS version. Have yet to take the plunge into the Wii U console, so only have a 3DS at moment. This Lego game looks great and I want to fully support the team and game, so I want to get both games eventually.

We know since last year that the 3DS version is a prequel set 2 years before the Wii U game ^-^ when he just became a cop, in the Wii u game he returns to the city now as a famous cop.

The 3DS game is a prequel. The Story covers chase Mccain's start as a rookie cop.

It looks like its a open world game just like the console version.
I'm an advocate for motion controls, Nintendo, and Kicking freaking Toad to the Moon!

Love lego games, seriously =P They're so incredibly charming. This one here's got potential, and I hope it sells well.
I can't vote in your poll because you don't have an option for me. I'm planning on getting a Wii U in the near future and at that point it is likely I will pick up the game.

I would add that option but I'm having trouble editing the thread for some reason.
I'm pretty much in the same boat as you though and I voted that I was finally sold on the game. I expected to buy Wonderful 101 and Pikmin 3 when I get a Wii U, but now I must have this game too.
