Forums - Sony - Game Sharing on PS4

For those who dont know what game-sharing is.... it's when you download a game under your PSN name, and then re-download it again on someone elses PS3.

It could be done by either going to your friends house and logging in on your PSN name on their PS3, and then downloading the game. Or by giving out your PSN password to someone you trust, and letting them download the game on their PS3.

The last I heard, this was still available on PS3 but I havent done it in a long time. Does anyone know if we're still able to do this?

Have they mentioned anything about this being allowed on PS4

Around the Network

the policy was changed from 5 to 2 devices. i imagine it will still exist in that format but i don't believe any statement as been made at all.

good. 2 is better than none

It sucks if your PS3 breaks, you buy another one, but THAT one breaks, then you buy ANOTHER one, but can't access your games from your PSN account becuase it was already activated on those 2 systems...

no see if it breaks you can deactivate your account on that console therefore you can log in on 2 again. i have my psn on my mates and my ps3 but i can stop him from using mine on his from my ps3
