Most definitely! atelier is my 3rd favourite franchise of all (behind Final Fantasy and Tomb raider) and I generallyu buy both english and japoanese copies of every one.

And Meruru is my 3rd favourite game of all time

I heard this ones english version will get no voiceovers thoiugh, it'll all just be text, its still wellworth the purchase though

the english version will have voice overs, just english only though, no duel dialogue :/

And it's only a partial dub. Tecmo really screwed this one up.

I'm not... because I have already cleared it in Japanese and reviewed it. Best game so far in 2013!

I'll be picking it up. Shame I can't get a C.E. from NISA this time though. ; ;

eventually. Gust has gotten really good with 3D models. Now work on environments

Me!

Although, not until I've finished Tales of Graces, so might be a while yet. Hopefully it'll be around £25 by that point.

It's looking really good though, a step up over the Arland series, which is nice.

Excellent review by the way, always good to see a real one. Trying to read the IGN or gamespot (or any major western reviewing organisation) reviews of these games is just painful. I think it was Atelier Rorona that IGN or gamespot gave like a 4/10. To this day its still in my top 10 games ever...

Great effort!, I for one appreciate it greatly <3 ,

may the bigger sites one day follow your lead and actually try and understand these games rather than just bashing them!

PLAYSTATION NATION LADY OF JRPGS

Favourite Games of 2013 1.Tomb Raider(PS3) 2.Atelier Ayesha(PS3) 3.Virtues Last Reward (Vita)

ill try to get it for my bday next Monty. I love atelier.

I've heard of the series, but I've never got into it.

I like the anime style, but I'm not really into some of the female objectification you get in some of these games. Is this an RPG?

Thanks. I actually spent some time one year ago harassing moronic reviewers who were talking trash at Meruru (especially gamespot and I wasn't the only one) and I'm ready defend Ayesha as well. I've already published my review on every possible site to show those idiots they should think twice about writing bullshit just because it's a niche game. I will give everything I have to support JRPGs and I already had an argument on GamrReview over the Hyperdimension Neptune Victory review.
