Gears of War: Judgment will feature an unlockable mini-campaign called Aftermath.

People Can Fly and Epic say the content reveals what Baird and Cole got up to while Marcus was busy finishing off the Locust Queen in the final hours of Gears of War 3.

Unlocking the campaign content will require users to earn a certain number of stars, which are awarded for completing sections of the main campaign in style by performing headshots, executions and the like.

Microsoft has confirmed a Gears of War: Judgment release date of March 19, 2013 in the US and March 22 in the UK. Here's a new batch of screenshots:

Having watched the most recent footage (in particular the 36 minute live event) http://www.godisageek.com/2013/03/gears-war-judgment/ i am now a hell of a lot more pumped for the game than i was.

Roll on March 19th/22nd.
