it has one hell of a confusing story. But I love it. MGS2 sucked though.

Great games, but sadly, they aren't really system sellers, and their sales have been declining.

I really want to play 4 simply to watch them try to assemble a story from the chaos you're left with after 2. Also seeing Raiden not suck really interests me for some odd reason.

Yes, it is a system seller, but not as big as everyone says. People didn't buy a PS2 for MGS2 or MGS3, they bought it because it was one of many good games.

I think a lot of people (especially Konami) have some really unrealistic expectations for the sales of this game. What has, besides Halo 2 and 3, sold 1 million copies on the first day? It is almost certain to lose money for its developers and discourage big budget projects for PS3.
