My theory is simpler... on Shadowfall Vektas and Hellgast make a truce.. but keep a tense peace... that's why due to race and cultural difference and all the hatting from the past wars they come to live beside each others...

About Visari.. Totally true.. after the ending of KZ3 that's the vibe you get, may be Visari did that because the pression of his military advicers... and because they were growing n power and did that so the vektas take care of them and then come back after all the mess as a messiah!

Anyway.. I hope in this games as on Killzone Mercenary for Vita we could play the Hellgast side of the story.. would be great to have two complementary campains and deep on the background story.. I really like the story of KZ, but I think guerrilla haven't take chance of it properly due to the "hellgast are evil and the bad-asses patriotic and faulmouthed heroes save the day allways" narration :/ really a shame!

I'm not theorizing about what happened before Shadowfall, but what'll happen after Shadowfall. Unless you're saying that the game after Shadowfall is going to be the same thing?

I actually hope for some kind game that does flashbacks. Like, you act as a operator or special ops during the first war, maybe even becoming a personal soldier for a young Visari and seeing him grow and take power in Helghan. They could do a back and forth between the past and present.

Go, buy a Vita and Wait for Killzone Mercenary.. it goes from first war to the end of the second.. you play as a a mercenary and You get hired for both sides... ;)

Sadly Guerrilla Games want us to keep playing as those ISA assholes instead of the more interesting Helgast.

I just whish I could kill Rico with my bare hands in some future KZ game.

I have a feeling that the protagonists in KZ3 might be arrested and executed. That, or they wouldn't be hailed as heroes, but just hidden away, as some people will speculate that the petrusite attack on Helghan was actually done by the ISA.

Why would the ISA try to cover up the petrusite attack at the end of the game? Its war.

Cover up? I meant not parade the protagonists around after they essentially committed genocide against the Helghast.

And again, it's not like the rest of the galaxy has the same information we the players have. The ISA may inform the rest of the galaxy about Stahl, but there'll probably be many doubters (look at the amount of people who believe that the USA deliberately allowed the Japanese to attack Pearl Harbor today).

And regardless of whether the galaxy believes the ISA or not, they'll definetly be 1) extremely shocked at what happened to the Helghast 2) afraid of the power petrusite has (and they'll probably be afraid if the ISA gained petrusite technology after KZ3).

Thinking about what GG said about Berlin and the Cold War, they might really scale up the use of petrusite as a plot device. It's essentially KZ's Death Star.

By first war do you mean this, or the events of KZ1?

holly fucking genius. how about the surving part of the army was put in stasis, and the ending of KZ3 was set 30 yr's in the future from the evens of KZ3.

Wut

srry to much brain storming resulted in gibberish.

you know how KZ3 ended? lets say that was 30 yr's later setting up the events leading up to shadowfall. that makes your cryogenics theory work.

I don't follow. Why does that need to happen for the cryogenics theory to work? They could have put Visari in a sleep state after the ending.

you mean stasis. i was also using what someone said about his age. i mean how old would he be 30 yr's after the events of KZ3?

ok moving forward: the helghast think of them selves as superior, so one would think it a matter of time before they'd try to take over Vekta.

I wouldn't waste too much time attempting to figure out what ShadowFall's story will entail, based on previous games. There is a reason they are calling it "Killzone:Shadowfall" as opposed to "Killzone4." GG is moving away from the old story, and you shouldn't expect any of it to make any sort of impact on the overall plot of Shadowfall, other than the 30 second intro detailing what has happened since the ending of Killzone3.

Much like Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, it's a completely different plot with no strings attached, allowing for a "new" story to take form. From the looks of it, Shadowfall might be drawing more of a parallel to the historically ongoing Israeli/Palestinian tensions as opposed to the usual "space nazi" theme.

I wouldn't be surprised if this time around we actually get to play as Helghast, as well as the VSA/ISA shadow marshals.

Enjoy my icon.

Surely the first thing to think about is how did they get to the situation seen in Shadowfall. The ISA and Helghast have declared a truce, so now the Helghast have half of Vetka city? I just don't understand why
