Yes, most of the time all I see from Aldro is like Uncharted looks amazing if nothing else! Not that it doesn't, but the graphics aspect is definitely above the gameplay with that one, presentation is what made Uncharted a strong series, gameplay, not so much.

Aldro and his gif porn is a bad example maybe, but speaking personally:

Great stories, great characters, great actors/actresses and great pacing (aside from in UC3), is what makes the series amazing. The visuals compliment that, not the other way around. Is the gameplay incredibly deep and complex? No, but it's no where near as simple and effortless as some make it out to be. It works, it's solid, tight and enjoyable. Even genuinely challenging on harder difficulties. And even if all I'm essentially doing in it is climbing shit and shooting, what does it matter if I'm still enjoying the fuck out of it throughout the full 8-10 hours?

Both serve me well and I don't intend to leave either. While both have made mistakes I've been most disappointed with Nintendo over the years, but I love their games so I don't see myself switching. I guess since the PS1/N64 days I saw them as parts of a whole. Since their games are so different I see them as complements. I was never drawn to Sega's systems, nor did I see the appeal in the Xbox (and I doubt I ever will). If I do add a new platform to my gaming it would be PC, but as I suggested before I won't 'switch', just add more.
