Heads-up: SCE Japan PlayStation press conference on Mon 9 Sept will be streamed on PS Blog, with English translation. Starts 7.00am BST.

 

 


sorry if i seemed rude if my previous post, was just being direct. and im going to crush your dreams big time! its for publicity really i would say. announce the time for britian and have an english translation and all the gaming sites will report the news. thus mentioning the PS4 and they will probably follow the show. there are bound to be games shown, announce or unannounced they wont hold a confrence for just a release date/price. so by getting the media's attention on the confrence they will get them to pay attention to the games shown and report on it. 

instead of being a japanese/asian confrence in japanese that no one cares about. its a show about PS4 that will hold some additional news about the PS4 and new info about games. they did that just by saying there will be english translation. also there is a market for japanese games in the UK/EU/USA. even if its niche its still there, so this might also be for them. content is king in these presentations, so even if translation might get in the way a bit, its the content that they show that will ultimatly matter

Do you understand that most JRPGs are successfull if they pass 300k sales? This game literally made tons of profits. As I said, one of the best selling JRPGs of this generation.

One of the best selling JRPGs of this generation.

But that's not really saying that much. When Sony is saying "the news you've been waiting for" just sound bigger than 1.7 million. I should have worded it different though.

How many new IPs (of this generation) do you know that reached almost two million units sold, without a good marketing?

 

One does not simply ignore 1.7 million of players!
