So this video is kinda old now, but check out the 27 and 47 min mark. They talk about both controllers, and they have some complaints about x1 controller. Interesting, i never noticed how large the triggers are on the x1 controller.

Am I the only one that never had a problem with the dualshock 3's triggers?  I always hear people say they don't like them because their fingers slip off easily and when you set it down they press in.  I've never once had that problem when using them.

There were some moments where I just didnt like using them when I first got a hold of it playing games like GTAIV.

But I've gotten used to it after playing several PC games with it lol.

Yeah they don't seem as bad as some people make them out to be.  They make it seem like the triggers and the stick placement on the dualshock 3 are the worst thing to happen to gaming.  Makes no sense to me.

Nothing will ever compare to the horror that was the Jaguar controller.

God i hate the stick placement argument. My fucking thumbs are the same! the place ment on the controller should be too.

Yeah the main argument is that where the stick is on the 360 controller is easier on the left thumb and you don't have to strain as much.  But yet the right stick is perfectly fine on the 360 controller.  It's fucking mindboggling!!!

I'm afraid I've never used the Jaguar controller.  :-p

What was bad about it?

Stick placement argument? This is news to me o.o

Never heard any complaints or arguments about the stick placement.

WHAT?!?!  How could you not.  I always see people saying the 360 controller stick placement is better because you don't have to strain your thumbs as much.  And I'm like DAFUQ IS THIS!!

I can't say they are great, but once you get adjusted to them they are fine. I did sculpt a set a while ago, using two part Molding clay that gets rock solid. I wanted to produce them but was really poor at the time, and now it would be kind a pointless, and would require you to take a part the controller to install, but they kicked ass.

They definitely aren't the greatest out there, but some people just make it seem like they make using the controller a horrible and painful experience.  Totally should produce those.  I would buy them!

I could drum up a set.

I've always wanted to make custom controllers, thinking about jumping on it for ps4, buttons sticks, you know the whole nine. lol carbon shells.

I've had the idea to make a hitbox on my project list for the longest time now. I have everything except the buttons, maybe I should order those.

Do it.  You could make some serious cash if they became big.

That was one of those controllers where you looked at it and thought, "What the HELL is the point of all of this for games THIS simple?!". Like if they gave the NES 6 action buttons to play Super Mario Bros.
