Not sure. I have heard about an elevator combat level that pisses some users off.

And several puzzles where people ask for help but not sure that says anything.

I havent bought it yet because I am waiting for a friend to come home cuz we're gonna pull an all nighter :3

played about 4 hours of GoW: A last night......LOVE IT!!! this game really separates the God of wars players from the God of War experts. playing on Hard and the enemies are tough! nearly every enemy can block, dodge, and certain ones can parry and grab you, normally i'd complain about this but I LOVE IT, you're not just blindly swinging your blades of chaos around and smashing everything that it contacts, you have to play smart.

I'm about 3-4 hours in and the puzzles so far have been pretty easy.  Probably will change though.  The combat is a lot different than the other games and is much harder. So I can see how some combat parts are gonna be frustrating. 

So I'm back home ... will post pics now. :) Don't mind the books all over the place. Life of a busy student. And now I shall try it on hard. See you guys next week ....

If I actually bought DmC and MGR I would have placed the statue above them. lol I played them from my friend so I know what to expect, and that's why I didn't buy them already. I'll get them when they're cheaper.

Looks sweet!!  Were you able to get both kratos' legs into both pegs or just one?  I'm not sure if I'm suppose to be able to get both or just one at a time.

General comments about the game

As for the game itself, I have to say it met my expectations for a GOW game on PS3. In fact, it manages to surpass it at times because some of the reviews suggested the wow factor has been immensely toned down. That couldn’t be further from the truth. It’s there in spades! And why do they refer to Kratos as ‘chill Kratos’? This dude is still angry as fuck lol Nothing could top his anger in 3 I suppose, but calling him ‘chill’ is misleading.

I’m playing it on hard and I’m really enjoying it. The combat is by far THE BEST in the series so far. It's a pity this game is a prequel. You can tell SSM had to restrain themselves because this is a prequel, but they still managed to make refinements in a logical way. I'd love to see what they can do with a sequel combat wise.  

I do have one complaint however. During some battles (so far only a handful and during the cinematic moments) the camera tends to pan out and it gives you a strong sense of the scope. Here you get to take in the majesty of the game. However, this comes at the expense of your view of Kratos since at times you’ll get a bird’s eye view of the battle, but I’ve managed to employ a work around (block, grapple, jump, combo in air tactics). Evading is the WORST thing to do in those moments when you’re surrounded.

I don’t get how some people could say this is ‘more of the same’. Combat wise, this game is WORLDS apart from the GOW games on PS2 and PSP. It’s really engaging.

Been playing the multiplayer on and off between the other GoW games (need to catch up). I beat Chains of Olympus the other day and God of War 1 yesterday. Right now i'm on Ghost of Sparda.

The multiplayer is pretty fun actually. Been using the spear exclusively, havn't tried out the other weapons yet.
