Ow yeah that one. It looked cool and seemed like a game I'd want to play. However, I'll probably forget about it again, like I did yesterday, because I'm not really hyped for it. I could have spoken too soon though, who knows . Honestly though, that game is the only one who's still even a slight candidate. One Gran Turismo per gen is enough for me and the only multiplat I'm interested in at the moment is Watch-Dogs, which I'll most likely get on WiiU.

Not exactly a JRPG fan though, I've only played a tiny amount of them (and Final Fantasy is not even one of them). I usually find them to be too... cumbersome. I'll normally say I don't like such a game because there's too many floating numbers on the screen.

I did reach a small milestone though, I just noticed it. With the Last of Us, my PS3 becomes my second-most supported console of all time, surpassing my PS1.

Bold: Oooh, I took you for a JRPG fan :O.

Wii is first?

Heh, sticking to the RPG-genre, I do like certain western RPG's though, but I'm more an action-RPG or even shooter-RPG guy. From the top of my head, the only JRPG's I played are Mystic Quest (FF-spinoff on SNES), Secret of Evermore, Pokemon Blue and Shenmue. If you even want to classify Secret of Evermore and Shenmue as such. I probably tried more, but don't remember them exactly.

Nah, Wii ain't first. Don't have that many Wii games because frankly, there aren't that many really good games to get. N64 is still first, with about 45 games. On PS3 I have 30 now and on PS1 29 (do need to find some of them though, they're all over the place so I hope I didn't lose any), while the rest is way below that. I have only 15 Wii games and just 14 GameCube games and about 12 DreamCast games. All the other, older, consoles also hover around those numbers, except my Mega Drive, for which I only have 5 games. And my G7000 (Odyssey2 in the US) for which I have about 20 games. So, without counting the PC of course, the N64 easily wins. From those numbers you could guess which gen I thought was the best; the 5th .

3rd person (either adventure or 3D-platform) games are usually the ones I enjoy the most. I'm actually a pretty all-round gamer, I can enjoy nearly everything on nearly any platform if it's good enough. I'm not really a specialist in anything though, guess that's the downside. I have more non-Nintendo games, but still favor them. Really the only reason for that is basically Zelda and to a slighty lesser extend 3D Mario.

PS4 to have up to 5.5GB RAM for games apparently.  It could be true but I call bullshit because they are using a Guerrilla Games KZ: SF slide from the February demo as a source.  Maybe that's why Sony is gonna make a comment to set them straight yet again.

Thread for it here: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=165295

Digital Foundry will lose even more credibility if this turns out to be false. This would mean that Guerilla had only 0.5GB when Sony were planning 4GB RAM?? Or the OS was 3GB less intensive, lol. No way

I just don't see it possible.  Most or all of the features for the OS were already concrete probably by February/March.  Also if it is true then they added only 1-2gb of the extra 4 for games.  Seems like that would be a waste tbh.  Haven't we heard from a few devs that 7GB is what they think they will be working with once final dev kits are out?

*edit*  Reading through gaf some people do make the 3.5gb make sense.  One insider said most devs he's talked to said they believe the number will rise later in the console life significantly.  They are doing it to have plenty of wiggle room to add new features and to cut back if need be.  I don't think it needs 3.5GB and I don't want it too, but a really fast and amazing OS would be awesome.

One of the insiders shared this from a dev.  I'm guessing the guy is a legit insider.  Everyone seems to think so.

What was the epic update?

No idea yet.  Pezus said he had a revelation on a way to shake up the thread and make it better.
