I don't blame you mate. I'm not big on racing games, but I believe in a 'balanced diet', so I'll incorporate a few in my library. GT is one of best sims out there (if not the best), so naturally I want it. XL is under 20 now so that should tide me over till GT6 is cheap.

 

Have you considered DriveClub? Well .. whenever it is you intend to get a PS4 lulz

This, I'm guessing is the ND screen he's talking about.  It was on a computer in the background in one of ND's dev diary's.  Since it doesn't look like anything for TLOU people think it may be a part of their new game.

I'm not too keen in racers except for a few like Mario Kart, Wipeout and Ridge Racer ;O. The only Gran Turismo I played was the very first one lol.

I saw the trailer for DriveClub - it looks interesting but not on top of my list ;p.

I do plan to get a PS4 which will probably be sometime in 2016 hopefully. I just hope it doesnt take me 5 years of waiting for a good time to buy it like I did with the PS3 >_>. I dont plan to get any game systems anymore in their first two years (only after that). This year I'll be getting a 3DS since it seems like a good time for it. Wii-U will be purchased at the end of 2014 or the beginning of 2015.

Yea I'd have to say I agree. The racing games that got the most of my attention are the Burnout games, Mario Kart games and Gran Turismo 3. I have not purchased any racers this gen. If EA let Criterion actually do Burnout instead of NFS I would have purchased the game at launch.

I'll probably get all the PS4 exclusives that release around the launch/launch window period. I like the diversity in the 4 announced titles.

I'm not inclined to purchase any system at launch. I took a year to get every PS console. I'm going to make an exception with the PS4 and wait 6 months. I have concerns when it comes to bugs and so on, so I tend to wait. The 3DS has been out long enough, so I will get one when Pokemon launches. Wii U will come when Smash Bros./Zelda HD drop. However, if this Black Friday there's a rock bottom price (akin to the Vita deal on Amazon) ....  I'll be waiting. My finger is always on the 2 day shipping button on Amazon. lulz.

O.O you should get Burnout: Paradise

I thought about it, but EA scares me when it comes to the longevity of their online servers. :D I'll probably get it for PC eventually.

I bought GT5 at launch but i'm not going to do that again. After five games things are getting a bit stale and to be honest a GT game takes way to much time(you have to start over from scratch every single time).

Also since it's probably on PS3 i will only be interested in my PS4 by then.

But starting from scratch is the best thing about GT!

Starting from scratch can be fun in a game and give a challenge, but at some point it just becomes a mandatory waste of time. Having to get the licenses again every time is a good example of this.
