Some Drive Club info:

- Play offline in single-player
- Also has a big online focus
- User-created race challenges encouraged
- Everything you do is tracked by a single profile in single-plaer
- With teams, accomplishments are funneled together into the larger success of the group
- Three-on-three team challenges included
- Create events based on different parameters: car type, track, time of day, weather, etc.
- Can make lengthy multi-stage events that take place over a number of days
- Participants can span in the thousands with hundreds of different teams
- Win smaller accolades to add team’s XP
- These include clocking the fastest lap, drifting 1,000 meters, going 0 to 60 the fastest
- Use apps outside of DriveClub to make challenges as well
- Spread accomplishments and media through social media chanels
- Evolution will be making its own season of league racing through weekly online race events
- Visuals and gameplay are equally important
- DualShock 4′s touchpad is used for menu navigation, for the most part
- Touchpad also being considered for cameras
- Not a simulation-based racer
- Damage cars take won’t determine how they handle
- Koenigsegg, Maserati, Pagani, Hennessey are represented
- Start off with slightly less glamorous cars
- Race and increase fame/funds to gain access to better cars
- More people will watch you race as well
- More cars will be added through DLC; will be “one of the biggest titles for Sony from a DLC perspective”

I have this felling about this game being more team and arcade focused to compete with Forza, Need For Speed, etc intead a more driving focused like GT.

I think it will be a good complement for races in PS4... Drive Club + GT7 will be awesome.

Damn ... launch title blowout! The details on those games look nice. At this rate I'm going to have to get rid of my girlfriend if I'm going to afford maintaining PS3, PSV and PS4. xD J/k

You gotta do what you gotta do man.  I don't have a girlfriend so I don't have to worry about it.

haha ... the one before saw videogames as the 'other women' and gave me a hard time about it. So it wasn't hard to let her go in time. The current one is fine with them and even plays with me. But yea ... I used to buy 3 and 4 new games a month when I was single. Now ... not so much. xD

How goes the UC3 MP? I think I want to boost my character after I put down Soul Sacrifice. I have to get back to GOW:A MP as well.

Bold:  That is what I don't want. :-p  I'm gonna stay single probably till I move to California because it would be dumb to have a GF and then move to California which could be a problem.

Haven't played any for a couple days, but I plan to tomorrow.  I'm trying to beat Metro: 2033 right now before Metro: Last Light comes out.

Yea that long distance thing hardly ever works out. If you plan to move to Cali then I'm in agreement - wait. Even if you do find someone where you currently are there are other arrangements that can be established apart from the traditional union.

That new Metro game looks interesting. I might actually buy it, and I don't care for FPS games. The concept just looks interesting.

Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS

Yep, thats more of what I'm thinking also.  Should be great for racing fans to have two exclusive franchises that should fill both sim and arcade.

Yep, definitely moving to Cali.  Won't be for 3 and a half years or so though.  And yes there are other arrangements that can be made.  Just that there is not really any girls I have my eye on right now for those type of arrangements.  Don't know what type of stuff you could contract around where I live.  Probably get stuff not even discovered yet.

Count your blessings. You can catch an STI just by looking at some girls in my home country.

I think Drive Club is a bit much. Money should be focused on other genres.

Yeah, it sounds like DriveClub (semi-Arcade) and GT(sim) will be the racing series to get next gen. Especially since NFS lost its way a long time ago, unfortunately.

I am the Playstation Avenger.

Man the freaking mutant's are scary as hell in Metro.  Got about an hour or so left in the game I think.

And I live in a little town in Indiana.  No one would ever come across my town that's for sure.
