It was a couple months ago and it wasn't the first time it was hinted from what I understand. The most recent hint that he gave of it was before the SCEJ Conference where he listed a number of third-party developers, mostly Japanese, who had exclusive games coming for PS4. If I remember correctly he nailed all of the Japanese developers that ended up showing what are currently believed to be exclusive games. In that list he also made two cryptic listings but one of which was easily deciphered as being Rockstar. The other, as far as I know, was never figured out.

If the Agent does happen, I hope it's not the same setting I heard of. More of a World War 2/Cold War era game. I would prefer something more recent or even near future.

im not a huge fan of the world war 2/ cold war era timing. but i hate cowboys and the wild west setting, but i LOVED read dead redemption, so i am very open to anything rockstar makes. 

What I would honestly like to see, though it would sadly be very controversial in the West, would be a game about Middle Eastern history and showing a side of that region other than the scary boogiemen we're constantly told are born over there. The things done mostly in that region involve nothing but warfare and either some kind of at least semi-terrorism vibe. I think Prince of Persia is the closest we've come lately to a game that wasn't about that set in that region. The only reason most people don't get pissy about it over here is because they don't even realize that Persia is Iran.

lol. being from palestine and living in jordan i would really love a game thats in the middle east. there are so many history events that would make for awesome... awesome games. but of course, we are just portrayed as ignorant people that always blow them selfs up. but the closest thing you got wasnt Prince of Persia, its actually Assassin's Creed 1. it happened right in the middle of the region where all the contoversy is at. and FYI in case you dont know, there actually was an "Assassins Creed". and the setting in AC1 is actually quite accurate. i would love to see a game that has more potrayed in the middle east, as there are really interesting places and interesting events that happened here, amazing historic places to visit and discover and amazing people that have amazing stories. 

Ah yeah. Assassin's Creed totally slipped my mind. Again though, that was another situation where the fact it was in the Middle East was kinda glossed over, promotionally speaking.  It didn't stand out in a way that news agencies or politicians looking to demonize something would have taken notice. I never actually played any of the AC games but I did hear from some other people that they are historically accurate in some ways.

Wait, Palestinian? Damn it. Gonna have to go back and tell people that it wasn't a Jordanian pimp that bitched slapped me.

Truth. If it was for a game, they wouldn't all tweet about it.

I'm fairly convinced that the team that did Uncharted 3 is working on a new Uncharted. I don't see Naughty Dog making two new IPs back to back and another Uncharted would be an excellent game to transition from PS3 to PS4 both for them and for the fans. It's also possible that the game some people think Naughty Dog was teasing could very easily turn out to be what Santa Monica Studio is making. Nothing says Naughty Dog cannot tease a game from a fellow first-party studio.

Just looking at this is why Killzone 2 is my fave fps of this generation. That atmosphere and feeling...

Shadow Fall wont be that.. but KZ3 was a great game as well. Neither are the masterpiece that KZ2 was though and thats primarily due to the gunplay ;/
