Sold me on the Medievil stage.

Yeah I'm assuming you don't have the game, do you? Kat and Emmet DLC was free. The stage was like $3 to play offline. Otherwise it's free for playing online matches. The only cashing in is the minions but those are pretty niche.

They care about promoting games. That's why EVERY third party character they've had has been from a game that had just released, or was set to release in the near future. DMC Dante, Raiden, Heihachi, Big Daddy (since they couldn't really use an infinite character), Isaac... very clear they don't care about what the fans want.

I'm sure they aren't blind and they are fully aware of what they want but I can only assume they have a certain amount of resources and getting big time characters like Crash and Spyro (the most requested), final fantasy, kingdom hearts, etc would mean going through buying the rights, blah blah. They're probably releasing what they can and what can be considered relevant to the PS family (Zeus more so than Clarke.) Still, I'm not complaining. One of the biggest gripes for me was the small roster and stages on release so to add more characters to the roster even if not my favorites for free with the GoW purchase, is a nice touch.
I still hang on to the hope that they will make Crash happen someday. I really do hope so.

The only character who needs the nerf bat is kratos. How can you be that fucking fast and have such a sick range to boot?
Emmett is strong but manageable if you get up close, not to mention his lv 1 and 2 ultimates are fairly easy to dodge.
