Forums - Sony - Welcome back Sony (4K, Xperia Z, Tablet Z, PS4)

Well they're not there yet, but they seem to be doing the right stuff. So I'm confident they will get there, or at least do their best to get there. In most cases Sony was the loudest voice in the room, but now there's a lot of noise so it's hard to hear them these days.

Yea that phone is just sexy. I want. XD

Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS

lol yes more expensive TV's will solve the problem, also Samsung is going to stick their boot so far up Sony's ass this year with S4 and TV's it's not even funny, not to mention Iphone and Ipad are going to be pure ass rape (as usual). Sony has no chance of competing, PS4 most likely going to be sold for a loss so I don't see it doing anything financially positive. So yes Sony welcome back to many more years of losses

Edit: btw you can only sell so many assets to keep the company from drowning

Without order nothing can exist - without chaos nothing can evolve.

I am tempted by an XPERIA Tablet Z to replace my not-XPERIA tablet S, though I might spend a bit more money and get their Vaio Duo 11.

But anyway, Sony has been making some seriously good products for a while now, but haven't been getting such great sales

In the phones division, most reports indicate that they are turning this around even if they are a distant 3rd behind Samsung and Apple (maybe 4th behind Hauwei?), but they aren't going to get back on top any time soon

But I feel that the PS4 is very important for them. After their launch problems with the PS3 and Vita they need to get this one right. But they don't need to win me over, apart from my self-made PC and my Xbox, everything is Sony!

wow you dared post a positive sony thread on vgcharts?,mad props to you.

How many people do you know that go out and say "hey I want an XPERIAz". Apple has these kids brainwashed now a days. Sony is just confused in the tablet and phone market.

I would have agreed with you in the previous years, however this is the first time an Xperia phone creates so much buzz, its currently the Android flagship. It has the looks and specs. It is selling like hot cakes in Europe and Japan. It won't sell as much as an iPhone or Samsung, but sales will be significantly higher than the previous models.

I hope so. It does look like a nice phone.

Wow, that's an impressive target. Its no where near Samsung or Apple, but still quite huge.

There next target should be to, make the Xperia brand well known for high quality products, like the Galaxy brand is for Samsung.

Yes. A  popular flagship phone is good for the brand, it also helps the sales of low/mid end phones.
