When will Next-Gen start?

It already did with the Wii U 45 37.82%
 
Sony's will start it with the PS4 50 42.02%
 
I'll wait for Microsoft to say so 19 15.97%
 
PC is where real Next-Gen is at 5 4.20%

Move already exists, its not the focus of PS4. It has always been Sony's strategy to sell to gamers first and then casuals. Even if it was casual oriented right out of the gate, gamers are still part of the target audience so not sure why you'd think they would leave out hardware specs.

This Gen started in 2011 with the 3DS but won't be in full swing until PS4 & Durango release.

Exactly lol.

 

Anyway I will say YES it begins when MS says so but only because they are the last company to be showing their hands. If we'd already had the WiiU out and the Nextbox reveal and Sony was the one not spilling the beans yet, then next gen would start when they said so. Of course in a literal sense, this article is dumb as hell because NG started whenever the WiiU launched.
