Really, cause most people probably don't understand hardware specs. Only core gamers are interested in the specs. 

Sony will not sell the console to casuals initially, they wanna get the gamers first.

So why did they have a whole segment for the Move? 

Move already exists, its not the focus of PS4. It has always been Sony's strategy to sell to gamers first and then casuals. Even if it was casual oriented right out of the gate, gamers are still part of the target audience so not sure why you'd think they would leave out hardware specs.
