Just like last gen....Sony creating illusions.

KINECT is the FUture!
It works like they promised! No lies here! The Actor didn't move to the trailers! That stuff was really played!!Hahahaha
Kinect 2.0 will be even better...Virtual Reality is crap against it!

Only difference is those studios are going to work for Sony and just don't want their stuff yet announced.
Kinect will never deliver the stuff Microsoft is promising ;)

Next Try please to find something bad about the winner of NextGen aka the PS4 =)

Kinect will be the future as its in the next generation lol.

Has nothing to do with what I said. Sony has been creating fake lists for years. They did it with PS3 and said that about Vita......reality is a very different story.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Sony has significantly reduced the list of developers committed to creating games for the PlayStation 4, removing a number of European studios named last week.

[PS4: All the news | All the facts | Every video of all the games | Official pictures | PS4 Specs]

The original list of 53 developers was released shortly after console's official announcement and included big names such as Namco Bandai, Bethesda, Rockstar, Disney and numerous others.

A spokesperson for Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has told Joystiq the initial list was wrong. A number of high-profile studios have been removed, including Mojang, Rovio, Criterion Games, City Interactive and Frozenbyte.

However, new studios have also been added to the roster, most notably Deep Silver, Ninja Theory, IO Interactive, Codemasters, 2K Games, Sumo Digital, Bohemia Interactive, and CD Projekt, which confirmed The Witcher 3 is coming to the PS4.

Many of the studios removed from the original list, such as Mojang, 17-Bit and Vlambeer, haven't outright ruled out supporting Sony's next console, and have simply stated they either have nothing currently in development for the console, or haven't decided on anything yet.

There is a possibility that some supporting studios may have wanted their names removed to prevent their projects being announced informally or prematurely.

Ahhh Sony... Gotta love 'em.

Your "original list" is clearly obfuscating. Only the EU developers were revised, none of the others. Thanks for playing.

That was actually the fault of CVG, not DirtyP. Either way, if he read the article before posting it he would have realized the glaring issues with the entire article from the headline all the way through the content of the article itself.

He should replace it with this one, as well as correct the title. This should help to prevent this thread from getting out of hand and fingers getting pointed around. Not to mention it also gives you reason to believe the list was revised for more than just "these guys aren't supporting PS4".

Except five minutes in, he had the correct information, and continues to leave the information unchanged. This is blatant FUD.

This is an amusing thread for a lot of reasons. First, the assumption that Sony was trying to create an "illusion" by submitting a list of developers that is actually inferior to the real list.  I'm sure they were thinking, "hey, let's impress people by leaving off CD Projekt, Deep Silver, Avalanche, and Ninja Theory, and replacing them with a bunch of mostly unknowns!"

These lists are always nebulous, anyway.  Projects get cancelled or added all the time.  Still, I don't think that many would argue that the old list is better than the new one.

You're only talking about the European list of developer support. Can you update OP so it isn't quite so misleading?

PS4 has by no means lost half of it's list of support.

Maybe a mod can edit it for him if he is unwilling. Nothing worse that having more threads created on VGC based on a poorly made article filled with misinformation.
