Well, key differences is Sony owns all of the IPs you mentioned, and Microsoft doesn't own Gears. Despite that, I agree with your bottom line.

I was never really interested in Gears of War, but if it came to the PSQuad I would definitely get it.

it wont ever happen. Microsoft will pay them off. Oh wait Mass Effect, Bioshock, Ninja Gaiden 2 all made it out on PS3? who knows I still doubt it since its microsofts second biggest franchise.

I don't see the series coming to the PS4, but I do hope it returns to the PC. I don't really see why M$ finds the need to keep their franchises exclusive to Xbox, anyway. Isn't it enough to just keep them off of Macs and competing consoles? They could even require an XBLG account to play XB games on PC. Is the PC gaming market so big that it would pose any significant threat to XB success if they shared a library?

Imagine how good Halo 4 would've looked and how well it would have run on PC.

they would make a lot more money on PS4 than they would on PC

I tried to get into the gears of war series. I never was much info FPS until Halo. Mostly RPGs (like now) with some Dead or Alive, Street Fighter, and Soul Calibur mixed in. Once my interest in Halo started to die off almost all my interest in FPS gaming in general died off.

We will see what happens with the new Bungie game but I have my doubts i'll like it.

Bungie is trying to re-invent the wheel.

I would say it doesn't really matter if it does or not, Gears 3 was just plain and simple a mediocre(almost boring) game, I bought it and sold it 10 days later to Gamestop hadn't even finished the Campaign yet which was seriously the highlight I was looking for but never got.

I miss the old Days with Gears 1 & 2 endless of ours in Horde mode and local multiplayer was just brilliant but Gears 3 was such a let down that if Gears goes Multi it will not really hurt the XBOX brand - Just look at the pre-orders on judgement! They are awful!
