MaLDo did some fucking amazing work on his texture mod. Especially as before he started making the mod he hadn't done any texture work before. His PoM and Normal maps are great as well, and his tesselation cleanup is nice as well. Really goes to show how much difference quality texture work makes, tho it does make the game look a tad uneven and I wish I had the PC power to see it at it's best but I don't plan on upgrading any time soon.

IMO Far Cry 3 and Metro: 2033 maxed out are the prettiest games period.

sadly there are a couple glitches still with some missing textures and some flickering etc, but there are some very nice textures.

in a couple spots yes it's pretty noticible where the floor is missing. But it's nice to see some of the improvements he has made, you might as well try it and see it permanantly changes anything so it can't hurt to try it. make sure to activate the mod ingame and to not resume a save game as that will mess it up as the mod uses modified levels, you can use the level select if you want to continue from where you left off.

If you overwrote the meshes and textures files... You 'll have to reinstall the game. 

Unless there is somewhere online you can find those original files...

disable all the mods if that doesn't fix it use the verify files feature of steam to restore vanilla files. If it does fix it re-enable the mods one by one.
