hahaha that was great and you know it's a great looking system when people are complaining about BC and not seeing what it looks like the most.

Also how could anyone be underwhelmed by the specs?  It's twice as much memory as most predicted and the CPU we expected without giving details on the graphics chip.  Every dev seems to be in love with it and I think that's what matters.  MS will probably have 8gb of DDR3 and act like it's the same now (probably have more reserved for OS too).

True, BC would be nice, but not at the cost. You might as well buy a PS3 (price drop soon to $200?), or keep your PS3 if you have it. Commenters like in that video that said their 40+ PS3 games will become useless once they buy a PS4 are not running on all cylinders.

poor sony set too high a standard.  Before Ps2 no one expected this.  You want them to have a less powerful system or another super expensive one?  You want them to keep cell around?  I used it for 2 games on Ps3 so I know I wont miss it.  Also I wasnt saying it wasn't a legitimate complaint I'm saying it's not a primary concern for a new console if price or power need to be sacrificed to keep it.  Same with how it looks not a primary concern.  I'm saying that 3 years from now no one will be worried about BC or how they look they'll be noticing that PC architecture and all the awesome games and the 8gb of GDDR5.

I for one want BC so i can get rid of my PS3.  I never get rid of my consoles but I do pack them away.  Looks are important to me.  For example i think the original X360 is ugly.  I still have that thing but i dont like the way it looks lol  It wont make me not buy a console but it is still nice to have something look good.

Something people are not understanding about the 8gb GDDR5 is that it is sharing it's memory with the GPU.  It's not what people are making it out to be but that is an entirely different point.  Most people know nothing about hardware so Im not even going to debate it.

Anyways people have opinions so it is best not to say it isnt important when some people do think it is important.  It would drive price up a little so i understand the reason and it is why you dont hear me complaining but I do understand the complaints from people at the same time.

I have games, price, and power as a consoles 3 main features.  Obviously games being the most important.  PS3s can do PS3 games and I wasn't gonna use up a bunch of PS4 space with my PS+ games anyway (I'm gonna need it in the coming years).  Sorry but I just don't see how BC can be put on the same level as price or power.  People need to think about the future not the past.
