I like pokemon the way it is, but i would welcome a spin-off series like this. I think it would work quite well on the Wii U.

Although I like the concept of the environmental design of a full 1080p Pokemon console game, the Pokemon art puts me off. I find it (well, those pictures at least) creepily disgusting and an abomination of my childhood. That said, they're also intriguing.

I'm also not too sure about the 'looking down on Pokemon battles' and slavery concepts. Takes it too far from the core of the franchise which is something you'd have to be very careful of if such a game were to be made.

I was younger than you when the first Pokemon game came out and although I'm past my teens I still enjoy the games. Pokemon Y is on my wish list and I reckon you'd find you still enjoy the new generation of games. Still, I feel Nintendo will almost be forced into making a full console version eventually, the potential appeal will mean it can't be ignored.

I wouldn't mind this as long as they kept the original Pokemon the same.

So, yes, a spin-off Pokemon.

I'd love all of this except the realistic Pokemon part to happen. I can see why some people would want realism but that isn't Pokemon's thing. The designs are great as they are. Making them realistic takes away a large amount of their charm. Everything else however, sounds great.
