I don`t think you are making stuff up Danne, but i don`t think your source isn`t - not on purpose i mean.
According to devs on neogaf the whole memory was pretty much known to be at least 2GB, with a part dedicated to the OS. This was known well before E3 last year.
That companies didn`t have the final dev kits i`m sure that Nintendo was clear on this and as Iwata already went public to confirm the final dev kits were only sent out late last year (no specific date given) i don`t see why the big fuss now.

If Nintendo had an exclusive coming from Japan i just don`t believe Nintendo would say no to it. Most likely would be the company saying that and not Nintendo.
Big exclusive means big company and to those Nintendo has always been more open.
When you say a big exclusive to redeem a whole company you are talking about the lost Wii U exclusive?

As i said, i believe you and your friend, but was told to you makes no sense. What do you think by the way?

When I'm talking about Sony's e3 presentation I am in no way refering to anything Nintendo. No old Nintendo games will show up there as far as I know. All I can say is that it was a survival horror that Nintendo cancelled, and that now probably will be ported over to PS360.

Apparently Nintendo has done this before; given 3rd parties gimped dev kits, so it's nothing new. And 3rd parties was restricted to 732mb only 2 months before release, causing some trouble (just look at the 2nd post in this thread)

What happened to you Danne?

Nintendo and PC gamer

And what's even more troubling is that I just heard that Nintendo has canceled 2 3rd party games to the Wii U; 1 being exclusive and 1 being a multiplat. And these games are well known, popular titles by a major publisher. The exclusive games will now probably be heading to the PS360.

.

Are these two games from the same software developer?

8GB GDDR5 fever, perhaps

This sounds just like Sony. Giving developers 4GB RAM dev kits and then, surprise!, the PS4 will have 8GB of RAM.

Dirty pool, Sony.

Actually Nintendo is being supported very well with 3rd parties. They get exclusives from 3rd parties all the time on 3ds and will get them on Wiiu as well. They just won't be your generic american style exclusives.

Are you using the phrase 3rd party support when you should be saying cross platform support?  Nintendo gets more 3rd party exclusives than anyone. Now if you'll excuse me I have a Monster Hunter 3 demo to play on Wiiu.

So a friend of mine, whom is the senior artist in a swedish gamescompany, is a very social guy and have lots of gamerfriends as he is also a hardcore e-sports gamer. Naturally everyone knows he works in the gamesindustry. And as gamers they allways try to get some insiderinformation from him. So, he jokes around and talk bullshit and everyone is laughing couse they know he's under strict NDA's and cant reveal anything at all.

Except that one special friend.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to whatever megatons there may be at this years E3.

enjoy =)

I will. Also, for entertainment, please make a similar post on NeoGaf. I'd love to see their reaction:)

I don't have NeoGaf account =(

Gee, Danne. Your OP is rather vague on the game that Nintendo refused to publish on their machine (rather than cancelled, wich is an extreme word in this context, unless Nintendo had a hand in it first). But the megatons being dropped, I actually expect them...

oh man ....this smells like BS to me....look I don't know you and I don't trust someone with bold statements (just like another analyst and wanna-be prediction maker. I think he is named Pachter)

Where is your proof that games got canceled ??? why are you insisting the entire thread that people should believe you?? I don't see the reason behind this tbh.

I'm making predictions now, too :

-Nintendo will make more surprises like bayo2 at e3
-Sony will announce the price of the PS4 which will be 500$+ (GDDR5....yeah ^^)
-you will get a lot of hate...

agree ??? lets bet shall we xD ridiculous...

Oh, we could make some form of bet then? ^^

My proof is that I know what games Sony will announce at e3...

i think your OP seems reasonable

Haha thank you! Very few people seem to agree :P

So the exclusive game Wii U lost was a surival horror game... and this the game that was coming from Japan?
So this has got nothing to do with the big PS4 exclusive that will redeem a whole company? Is this game coming from Japan or the west? Can you tell?
I do believe Nintendo gave them unfinished dev kits, but what i was saying is that everyone knew that. Actually they knew how much memory Wii U was going to have that`s why i don`t understand how a 3rd party got mad about it.

Even 3DS had that problem from what i remember but Nintendo opened the door for the dev (Capcom) to use more ram on 3DS.

The survival horror is made in Japan yes, as is the game that SOny will show that will redeem a company. LoL! Or possibly even ruin it further :P I guess that remains to be seen ^^

As I understand things Nintendo said to developers not to use about 270mb of the RAM because they were reserved for Nintendo only. Not that the dev kits were unfinished, but that that area was off limits for 3rd parties.
