Same as triangle or square. The only "symbol" that needs 2 strokes is X.

This reminds me of Apple trying to patent the rectangle. Basically companies will copy each other all the time to try and give themselves the edge. The way I see it as long as the consumer benefits in the end that's all that matters.

A stroke is defined as a movement that doesn't require slowdown or stop. It's incredibly hard to draw corners on a triangle or square while maintaining a constant velocity..

Think of it as navigating a roundabout as opposed to a street corner...
