1 PSN Profile
2. Some sort of master activity feed?? What's New??
3. Another area of someone's PSN Profile?
4 and 5 are definitely what you said.

These are but a part of the UI, instead of a simple friendlist you'll have a whole tab about it, aswel as for activity feeds and other things.
There will be a central place where you can choose from games, pics or videos etc.

Wait, how does this work? I mean, I get that it's possible, but how much do they let you do with a game without buying it? I would think that if you are commanding (this is the taking over option right?) then you are essentially playing the game. |
They said it's the full game. So presumably limited time.

While it could be limited time I don't see why they would. It's not different from physically going over to your friends house to play their game, you're just able to do it remotely. It's not as though it's simultaneous connections to two instances of the game, you're just given control of their PS4. Very similar to an app called "LogMeIn" that allows remote access control of a PC from a phone or other PC.

A dedicated online group could share a very small number of bought copies between a large number of people. Unlike sharing game keys there'd be no risk to adding your copy to the pool.

Well I won't pretend to have knowledge of exactly how it works, but no...if it's like LogMeIn (it sure seems to be).
You're giving access to your system, meaning while your buddy is controlling your game you have no access to your system. So you couldn't share games unless you are allowing access to your ps4 when you aren't using it. You'd have to start up the game, then leave it running while your friend plays it. I mean, it's possible, but it's always a 1:1 ratio where you can't have 20 people controlling your one game at the same time, but you could have one of the 20 at different times.
I still don't see why it'd be an issue. To me it's like going to your friends house to play a game without the inconvenience.

No. Adding your copy means having your PS4 running the game and streaming it to them. It would be chaotic.
The fourth picture has a lot of stuff on the top. The far right is defiantly settings, yet how do you think it's selected?

I think you can only jump into a game, not the whole system. So it'd be safe.
I agree the limitations you mention exist (you need to let your PS4 run while someone uses it) but that will not stop dedicated people. Torrenting groups run on a ratio trust basis. You just watch on release for it to happen.

Yes, I think so too, but my point was you can't use your system while someone else is controlling your game. (At least, I don't think it allows this if it works as suspected.)
I think a ratio trust basis would only work with opposite time zones, I mean people are working 8-5 so you'd have to share with someone across the Globe in order to be practical about it. Even then your system is always on, bandwidth caps would come into play, electricity bills, etc. It could be a scenario here where control is region-locked too.
I just think it'd be more of a hassle to share than it's worth. But you never know, time limits could be imposed just in case as well like you said. I just don't think it's necessary.
