No... I don't believe they are copying MS. However, some features do seem similar to that of MS, I have to agree with that. I disagree with your opinion that Sony is waiting to see MS next console to show theirs. Sony was second of the two to show off their console in current-gen and they will have something different from the Nextbox. A lot of this seems too thought out in my opinion. Sony is progressing in new ways which MS and Nintendo have yet to do or even mention.

I'm glad they ditched the XMB though. There's simple and then there's plain....
I like the philosophy behind the PS4. I get what they're trying to do with the console and I will support it Day 1.
