So they said "holiday 2013" but PS3 was supposed to come out Spring 2006 and didn't come out in Europe until Spring of 07.

So what month do you think PS4 will be out?

I hope they go with September or October so they get that launch peak and right as it's settling down you catch the holiday spike.  Not only will it be out sooner, but also it will catch these big holiday titles on the same day rather than weeks afterwards like WiiU did this year with AC and COD.

Late November(Thanksgiving week/Black Friday Day!!!, early December(First Week) seems like a bet... and they have weeks to hype it up for xmas shoppers with commericals...... of course im talking about USA/Japan......... Europe probably early 2014 Feb Maybe though I Would hope world wide launch for all reigons on the same week or 2.. but thats stretching a dream haha

why not release well before BF to get the initial wave out of the way and then follow it up immediately with another wave wanting the new console for Christmas lists?  I think PS2 had it right but they could even go early October/late September and just give it more time to get out there before BF so they aren't as supply constrained come BF and can sell as much as are demanded.

Yea, that does make more sense than a release right around Black Friday.  Late Sept. is probably the earliest it will be released.  I am a date guy (by this I pay attention to how the dates add up or look like aka 7/7/7, 7/7/11 (7/11), 12/12/12, 3/11/13 (311 x2 , 311 rock band).  They might as well release it on Halloween.  Not sure if there are any cool dates between Sept and Nov for 2013.
