Why doesn't someone just put together a timeline? It would be pretty cool to see the evolution of all motion control / portable / everything else and how each of the companies have copied / developed in parallel.

The N64DD had a video camera cart and some kind of gameboy download thing way before anything by sony & ms.

The transfer pack, it was also available on the regular N64. Or are you referring to one of the two unlabelled cartridges?

Yeah the n64dd cart it had the red, yellow and white plugs for a video camera, and didn't that gameboy trans pak allow downloaded GB from satview to a blank cart.

My gripe is with Eyetoy, a lot of people act like it never existed, and most people don't even know it existed. I had the eye toy for my PS2 back in the early 2000s and had a lot of fun with it.

There wasn't "many" that were launch wide scale for consumers, to my knowledge. If you could, please post all gaming related cameras prior to the EyeToy on PS2 that reached the market (not prototypes).
