Forums - Sony - Your thoughts on the PS meeting?

i actually thought it was kinda meh... the best thing they announced was a faster network. thats the one thing live has over psn. its like going from cable to 28.8.

Around the Network

I rather enjoyed it!

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Sorry for any poor grammar or typos, im posting from my Vita.

The show itself was pretty underwhelming, the announcement could have been more epic, both Kaz and Jack were MIA and it didnt help that my connection kept dropping. Looking back over the conference though, the content was very good. The hardware seems perfect, the new controller looks sexy from most angles (but looks a bit 3rd party from others), the share feature is genius, a nice variety of games were shown and they boasted good 3rd party support. Some of the games shown didnt deserve any stage time in my opinion and some of the presentations seemed a little barebones. Theres also the obvious issue of the console itself not being shown, no price point being given (that GDDR5 looks expensive) and Square Enix underdelivering as usual. Overall though, good show.

How much would you buy it for? Highest I'd go is £399

Depends on the games. If it doesnt have any must have games by the time I buy it, £250 tops. I wont get it at launch.
